Activate Timecode Plug-In (version 3) on your device

If Timecode Plug-In has not been activated yet, a notificiation that the app will only run for a random period of time will be presented at the top, along with a button that will direct you to the activation section.

Note that an activated device activation cannot be transferred to another device.

Clicking the [Activate] button takes you to the activation window.

Methods of activation

There are two methods to activate Timecode Plug-In on your device:

1. Direct Activation: activation using internet on the device itself
2. Activation using another computer: activation using internet on another computer

Direct Activation

Here you can fill in your license information as received per email. You can fill in any Device identifier you like to be able to distinguish devices activated using the same license.

If you are connected to the internet, you can click [Activate], and our server will verify the filled in credentials and activate your device right away.

Activation using another computer

If you do not have an internet connection on the device you want to activate, you can click [No internet on this computer], and fill in your license information as received per email, and click [Generate License Key]

As show in the window now, you have to take the just created unsigned license file “License_unsigned.txlic” in “~/Documents/TXL20/Timecode Plug-In/” and copy it to a computer with an internet connection.

On a computer connected to the internet, go to https://txl20.com/mylicense/, and drop the unsigned license file in the designated space.

Your license information will now be shown, and if the license allows for more devices to be activated, the option to fill in a Registration Name, to be able to distinguish devices activated using the same license, and a [Register New Device] button will be visible. When you click [Register New Device], the status of the activation will be shown. Now you can click the [Download License] button, for the device you just activated. Copy this “License.txlic” file to the device you want to activate, and place it in the “~/Documents/TXL20/Timecode Plug-In/” folder. When you reload the Timecode Plug-In, your device will be activated successfully.
